Admission to a recognised higher-education institution is a core element of a study visa application, but funding, language and visa documentation need to be planned at the same time.

Do not budget using an old fixed funding figure

Language requirements depend on the programme

Required language evidence depends on the language of instruction and the institution. Check the university’s admission requirement separately from the evidence required for the visa process.

After choosing the programme, check the current visa procedure and submission route on the German Embassy Tehran website and the official Consular Services Portal. Appointment and submission procedures can change, so do not rely on an old checklist or another applicant’s past experience.
